The main event of the Rally! About 130 cars were displayed at Launceston's Royal Park, making a fabulous display. Many members of the public wandered happily among the cars, pointing and smiling.

The Sporting event was at the iconic Symmons Plains Raceway, south of Launceston. In conjunction with the MG Car Club, this was a successful and enjoyable day for those with a 'need for speed.'
